WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW:

The FORWARD Kosciusko County planning team is offering a public review of the initial components of the new comprehensive plan. Through the month of February the team will be gathering public input on the proposed recommendations.

 

The community at large is invited to review and share comments pertaining to  the Draft Comprehensive Plan recommendations using the link below.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NEXT:

Following this initial review period, the project steering committee and the consultants hired to facilitate this process, will incorporate any edits as appropriate and the final Draft FORWARD Kosciusko County Comprehensive Plan will be provided for a final review prior to the formal adoption process.

In March, the final draft plan will be released for public review and comment. An introductory presentation will be given to the Area Plan Commission and the County Commissioners.

​

Once all public comments are received, the Area Plan Commission will be asked to make a formal recommendation on the Plan in April.

​

Following the Area Plan Commission's recommendation, and the adoption of the Plan by the County Commissioners, each incorporated Town will also adopt the plan through their local councils.
