On May 24, 2022 after nearly three years of strategic planning and community input, the Kosciusko County Board of Commissioners formally adopted the FORWARD Kosciusko County Comprehensive Plan following a unanimous plan recommendation by the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission.

Following the adoption, each individual community plan was adopted by the local Town Council in accordance with the rules and procedures of the Area Plan Commission.
